Project
Background
In Australia, over 95% of commercial rental properties remain without solar or battery storage, representing a vast untapped renewable energy potential. According to AEMO, four times our current distributed solar/BESS capacity will be needed by 2050. Yet traditional rooftop solar business models struggle in rental scenarios due to landlord-tenant misalignment, lack of third-party investment incentives, and more.
Key Challenges
Deploying solar and battery storage in commercial rental properties
still faces the following key challenges:
Landlords unwilling to invest
Most savings benefit tenants, leaving owners unable to recover costs through rent
Tenants unable to deploy
Require landlord approval; solar hardware isn’t relocatable after lease ends
No platform for third-party
Lack of a recognized commercial or operational framework for external investment
Government rebates underutilized
Significant incentives remain unclaimed due to misalignment between renters and landlords
Our Innovative Solution
Deploying solar and battery storage in commercial rental properties
still faces the following key challenges:

Third-Party Investment Model
A new approach where our team finances and deploys solar + storage, structuring fair benefit-sharing among landlords and tenants

AI-Powered EMS
Edge computing ensures real-time tenant load monitoring and optimized solar-storage dispatch

High-Performance BESS
Proprietary battery system with 1–1.5C discharge, 3000+ cycles, and advanced thermal safety

Finance & Settlement Platform
In pursuit of retailer and AFSL licenses, enabling transparent investment and revenue distribution
Pilot Projects & Outcomes
We are testing our innovative solar + battery approach in real-world rental property scenarios. These pilot sites demonstrate the commercial feasibility and performance of our distributed renewable energy model.
